Pizza Philly Cheesesteaks

Ingredients

  • 1 package Steak-umm Sliced Steaks
  • 1 diced onion
  • 6–10 slices pepperoni
  • White American cheese slices
  • Pizza sauce, for topping
  • 1 hoagie roll or sub roll
  • Salt, pepper, and garlic powder, to taste
  • Aluminum foil, for wrapping

Instructions

  • Cook the Onion: On a griddle over high heat, cook the diced onion until translucent. Push it to the cooler side (medium heat).
  • Cook the Steak and Pepperoni: Add the Steak-umm Sliced Steaks and pepperoni slices. Cook for about 3 minutes per side.
  • Season: Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Chop and Combine: Chop the steak into bite-sized pieces, then mix in the cooked onions and pepperoni.
  • Add Cheese: Layer white American cheese on top (add a few slices in the middle, if desired).
  • Add Sauce and Bread: Spoon pizza sauce over the top, then lay the roll face-down on the mixture for 30 seconds to soften.
  • Assemble: Scoop the cheesy steak mixture into the roll and remove from the griddle.
  • Wrap and Rest: Tightly wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil for 5 minutes before serving.
