Ingredients

  • 2 packs Steak-umm® Sliced Steak
  • 1/2 white onion, sliced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 pack Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 slices white American cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the Beef: Prepare the Steak-umm® according to the directions on the box. Season with salt and black pepper for added flavor. 
  • Sauté the Vegetables: In the same pan, sauté the sliced onions and bell peppers until they have a nice char and are  tender. Set aside. 
  • Prepare the Rolls: Slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping the tops and bottoms connected.  
  • Layer the Ingredients: On the bottom half of the rolls, layer 6 slices of white American cheese first.  
    • Add the cooked Steak-umm on top of the cheese. 
    • Follow with the sautéed peppers and onions. 
    • Top with the remaining 6 slices of white American cheese. 
  • Add the Topping: Spread mayonnaise over the bottom of the top half of the rolls. Place the tops back on the sliders. 
  • Brush and Bake: Brush the assembled sliders with melted butter to give them a golden finish.
    • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown. 
  • Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve on your favorite game day platter with chips and a cold drink!
