Ingredients

  • 1 sheet square pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 pack Steak-umm frozen beef sheets
  • 1 white onion, diced and partially cooked
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced and partially cooked
  • 8 slices provolone cheese, halved
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Everything Bagel seasoning, for topping
  • Spray butter, for coating

Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough and lay it over the cups of a muffin tin. Use the bottom of a glass or cup to press down and form indents in each muffin cup.
  • Fill the Bites: Place about 1/4 sheet of Steak-umm beef in each muffin cup. Season with salt and black pepper, then add a spoonful of the onion and bell pepper mixture. Top each with 1/2 slice of provolone cheese.
  • Cut and Shape: Using a pizza cutter, slice the dough into squares along the rows and columns of the muffin tin. Fold each square up over the filling and twist the top to create little dumpling-shaped bites.
  • Season and Bake: Spray each bite with spray butter, then sprinkle generously with Everything Bagel seasoning. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm and enjoy!
  • Chef’s Note: These Philly Cheese Steak Bites combine the gooey cheesiness of a Philly sandwich with the fun, handheld shape of dumplings. Perfect for game day, parties, or even as a creative family dinner. Try swapping in mozzarella or cheddar for a different cheesy twist, or add a drizzle of garlic butter after baking for extra richness.
