One Pot Steak & Rice

Ingredients

  • 6–8 slices of Steak-umm Sliced Steaks
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1½ cups long grain white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 3½ cups chicken stock
  • Cajun seasoning (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat, cook your Steak-umm Sliced Steaks until browned. Chop into bite-sized pieces as you cook.
  2. Add diced onion and bell pepper to the Steak-umm. Cook for another 4–5 minutes, until vegetables soften.
  3. Stir in the uncooked rice, followed by a generous amount of Cajun seasoning. Add the cream of chicken soup and stir everything together until fully combined.
  4. Pour in the chicken stock and stir well. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 18–20 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
  5. Fluff the rice, adjust seasoning if needed, and enjoy!
