Zingy Steak-umm
& Pepper Sandwich

Ingredients:
• 8 Steak-umm Sliced Steaks
• 1 teaspoon Canola oil
• 1 sliced onion
• 1/2 sliced red pepper
• 1/2 sliced green pepper
• 1/3 cup ketchup
• 1/4 cup water
• 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
• 2 tablespoons chili powder
• 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
In nonstick pan, cook Steak-umm until
no longer pink, chopping with utensil as you cook. When done, set
aside on plate covered with paper towels. In separate pan over medium
heat sauté onions
and peppers in Canola oil until slightly tender. Add ketchup, water,
vinegar, chili powder and Worcestershire sauce; mix well. Stir
steak into onion and pepper mixture. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Serve on hard rolls. May also be served over rice.
Serve with a side dish of chips or
steak fries with a pickle. |
