Ingredients:
• 12 Steak-umm Sliced
Steaks
• 1 Tbs. red wine vinegar
• 1 tsp. dried oregano
• 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. black pepper
• 1/4 tsp. onion powder
• 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
• 1 container (8 oz.) lowfat plain yogurt
• 1/2 medium cucumber, peeled and chopped
• 2 green onions, sliced thin
• 1 tbs. snipped fresh mint or 1 tsp. dried mint
• 1/4 tsp. sugar
• Three 6 inch pita breads
• 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
Instructions:
Combine vinegar,
oregano, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, onion powder and cumin.
Blend yogurt, cucumber, green onion, mint, and sugar. Cover sauce
and chill to let flavors blend. Break Steak-Umm steaks into a preheated
fry pan. Sprinkle with vinegar, herb mixture and cook, tossing
until no pink is showing. Serve steaks on pita, topped with a portion
of chopped spinach and a dollop of sauce.
