Steak-umm American Chop Suey

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients:

• 8 Steak-umm Sliced Steaks
• 1/2 lb elbow macaroni
• 2 (14 oz) cans stewed tomatoes
• 1/2 medium onion, minced
• 1/2 medium green pepper, minced
• 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
• 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 teaspoon olive oil
• 2 tablespoons chili powder
• 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

Cook elbows in large pot of water until done. Drain. In nonstick pan, brown Steak-umm and cook until no longer pink, chopping steak with edge of utensil as you cook. Set aside to drain on a plate covered with paper towels. Sauté minced onion and green pepper in one teaspoon olive oil until tender. Add stewed tomatoes, basil, oregano, chili powder, and worcestershire sauce. Simmer 5 minutes. Add cooked elbows, stirring well to mix.

Serve with corn bread and a fresh tossed salad.
