‘Hometown Burger’ Recipe Contest 1. Eligibility: The Steak-umm “Hometown Burger” Recipe Contest (the "Promotion") is open only to legal residents of the Fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited. Employees of Steak-umm Company LLC as well as their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members are not eligible. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. 2. Sponsor: Steak-umm Company LLC, PO Box 350, Shillington, PA 19607. 3. Dates: The Promotion begins on March 15, 2009, and ends on June 15, 2009 (the "Promotion Period"). Entries must be timestamped (by email) or postmarked (by U.S. mail) no later than June 15, 2009. Winners will be notified on or about June 25, 2009. 4. How To Enter: On or before June 15, 2009, send a recipe using any variety of Steak-umm Burgers from Steak-umm Company LLC, along with a food ingredient that is closely associated with a city or state, to the email or street address below. Include your name, address, telephone number, the ‘hometown’ ingredient used in the recipe, and what city or state it represents. Send to: By email – By mail – Each entry will be judged on originality, taste, visual appeal, creative pairing of the hometown ingredient with the Steak-umm product, and the extent to which the recipe brings out the essence of the local cuisine. 5. Prizes: The grand prize winner will receive a Weber Q 100 Liquid Propane Gas Grill. Each of the two runners-up will receive one 10” limited-edition Steak-umm frying pan. No cash or other substitution, assignment or transfer of any prizes is permitted, except by Sponsor. Prizes will be awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied offered by Sponsor. 6. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Promotion constitutes winner's consent to Sponsor's use of winner's recipe, name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, biographical information, hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration. 7. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. 8. Release: By entering this Promotion, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Steak-umm Company LLC, and any promotional partners, each of their related companies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively the "Released Parties") from and against any losses, damages, rights, claim or cause of action of any kind arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of participation in the Promotion or resulting directly of indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize awarded in connection with the Promotion, including without limitation personal injury, death, and/or property damage, as well as claims based on publicity rights, defamation, and/or invasion of privacy. 9. Winners List: Promotion results and/or a copy of these Official Rules may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to “Steak-umm Hometown Burger Recipe Contest,” c/o SS│PR, 2700 Patriot Blvd., Suite 430, Glenview IL 60026. Requests must be received by August 1, 2009. |
